What is The Magnolia Society Sweater Club?

The Magnolia Society Sweater Club is a subscription based club membership and a great opportunity to space out payments over a larger period of time for sweater quantities of fine yarns. Each club member registers for a subscription to the club and is then automatically debited once a month for six months in installments (which corresponds to the size range and location selected) for the purchased yarns via PayPal. In turn, each member will receive a magnolia society package of yarn to knit/crochet and enjoy in three installments during the 6 month duration of their subscription term, 3 packages total.

Subscribers to the sweater club are a fun group of people. members are able to post pictures of their packages and projects on The Magnolia Society Sweater Club group here on ravelry as well as the flickr group found here.

What will I receive?

Enough yarn to complete a full sized sweater in the following yarns, 80/10/10 Worsted, Dandelion, and Tosh Mo Light.

PLEASE NOTE COMPUTER MONITORS MAY VARY. We make every effort to photograph our dye lots in the most realistic manner but all monitors vary in color making even the perfect photograph different on different computers.

What are the technical specs for the base yarns I will receive?

80/10/10 Worsted is a 100% superwash merino wool/cashmere/nylon, worsted weight yarn with a generous 187 yards per skein, each incredibly squishy soft skein is hand-dyed in small dye lots.

Dandelion is a single-ply custom blend of 90% superwash merino wool, 10% fine linen. With a generous 325 yards per skein, this fingering weight yarn is more than enough yardage to complete a pair of socks and two skeins can completed a full-sized lace project. This uniquely soft, fine linen blend is hand-dyed in small dye lots.

Tosh Mo Light is a 80% superwash merino wool, 20% kid mohair, single ply fingering weight yarn. With 420 yards per skein one skein is more than enough yardage to complete a pair of socks and two skeins can complete a full-sized lace project. The kid mohair adds great strength to the single ply yarn and gorgeous depth to the color while the merino holds the squishy softness of the wool. each skein is hand dyed in small dye lots.

What is the subscription registration process?

Step 1: Select your payment type (payment in full or monthly billing).

Step 2: Select your location – USA, Canada or International.

Step 3: Locate the PayPal button corresponding with your location and selected sweater size.

Step 4: Select the colorways for each month’s shipments.

What are the terms of my subscription?

  • Your subscription to The Magnolia Society Sweater Club will be for a term of 6 months, with 3 shipments.
  • Each monthly shipment will be sent with tracking information via USPS.
  • All yarns shipped during the course of your subscription will be non refundable.
  • Due to the large volume of participants in this club, colorway selections once shipped and received cannot be returned or exchanged, with the exception of damaged skeins.
  • Each individual membership will be shipped separately.
  • Should you move during your subscription term your subscription shipments will be halted until you can provide a new address for the shipment of your society yarns.

A NOTE ON HAND-DYED YARNS

Our yarns are hand-dyed in small batches. As such dye lots are small and unique. The beauty of the colorways we create is directly related to the small size of the lots we dye. Each skein is truly individual and one-of-a-kind.

That said we do our best to match skeins for shipments as we understand your desire to match yarns as closely as possible for your project. It is normal for there to be variation among dye lots, please keep this in mind when subscribing.
