Interpretations are yearly collections by knitwear designers and best friends, Joji Locatelli and Veera Välimäki.
Each collection uses 6 words for inspiration and each designer creates a rendition of this word. The result is a fascinating arrange of knitting projects, from small accessories to complex sweaters, suitable for all levels of expertise.
The year 2020 added a layer of different circumstances to the book. The photographs were taken on the same day, but on opposite corners of the world; Joji's in Argentina by Charly Barros and Veera's in Finland by Jonna Jolkin.
Volume 7 features 12 garment and accessory knitting patterns.

This autumn issue of Pom Pom sees our collaboration with the multidisciplinary artist Ocean Rose. Their theme of ‘Home’ makes for a dreamy collection of cosy autumnal knits, evoking the places that bring connection and comfort. This inspiration was chosen long before our current situation of sheltering in place, and has brought about the unique challenge of our models capturing this quarter’s beautiful knits with micro-shoots in their abodes.
