This piece is the perfect combination of being fashion forward with an every-day essential wardrobe staple. It features a unique design elements such as a collar that’s attached to the body as you go. Using Farm Twist held doubled creates a luxurious texture with extra depth that made the color look even deeper.
Josh likes to incorporate new and innovative techniques into each collection he makes, which is exactly what he’s done for the construction of the collar in the Kindling Cardigan.
The body is knit in one piece to the armholes, and then separated with fronts and back worked separately. Sleeves are knit separately and sewn to the body.
Atlas is knit using Vintage doubled and incorporates the same twisted rib in hem & cuffs as the other pieces in the Adventurer collection. These twists continue into a 1 by 3 twisted rib for body and sleeves, which gives a flattering vertical effect.
Front and back are knit flat, separately. Saddle sleeves are also knit flat and seamed to the body. Fine finishing details are what make this sweater.

The Rooftop blanket uses just two different colors of yarn, but the marled technique makes it look like more! By holding three strands of the one color and one strand of the second color, then two strands of each, and then three strands of the second color and one of the first color – something magical happens. The fabric looks like a night sky full of shimmering stars, that’s almost liquid-esque.
There is also flame stitch technique in the blanket, which makes the stitches look like the licks of flame on a candle. Every stitch is twisted throughout the blanket to match the bottoms of the hems of the garments in the Adventurer Collection.
This pattern is pretty easy to follow and goes by quickly once you learn it. Because of all the ribbing, the Rooftop blanket is incredibly stretchy and grows to comfortably fit two people, but it also packs down small for travel.

The inspiration for the name, Vesper, is two-fold: a delicious cocktail and the name of the evening star, which is fitting for this collection. Josh wanted all of the pieces in the Adventurer Collection to evoke memories of time spent with friends. This particular design takes us back to cool fall days, picnics in the park, and having a drink (or two!) while playing games with his friends. There are a few neat design elements to show off your pride for your school, favorite sports team, or maybe a trendy color that’s happening now. In particular the collar and cuffs include a varsity stripe, which is the perfect place to add any pop of color you so choose.

This hat is knit from the bottom up using three different shades of Tosh Merino Light. Three strands are held together throughout the project, and these three strands will vary from round to round. Follow the chart for a guide on how to change colors, or come up with your own fade!
In the sample shown, the “A” color is usually the darkest. The hat fades roughly from the darkest color at the bottom, to the lightest around the middle, and then back to darkest at the top.
