"The textures of this design were inspired by the mesmerizing movement of water in river currents. The patterned panel running along one side of the piece is composed of traveling stitches, cables, and Japanese wrapped stitches, all flowing gently into each other and creating the effect of movement similar to the one seen on running rivers. The body of the shawl is worked in the broken twisted rib, resembling the play of light on the surface of constantly flowing water."

"Inspired by the movements of water. The swell of the tide, the ripple over a sandy beach, a birds wing skimming the surface of the sea. This light scarf is perfect for the spring and autumn, when cool evenings require just a little bit extra and a walk along the seafront has just a hint of coolness in the breeze."

"The Josie Dickie was inspired by late Grandmother Josephine. Josephine introduced me to the fiber arts many moons ago when I was just 14. The brief introduction into her world of crochet, would lay the foundation in my own knitting world today. One of the first pieces my grandmother made me for me was a dickie back in 1982. I remember how warm and fuzzy the piece was as it cuddled my neck. I promised myself that one day I would try to mimic the Dickie she made for me (let’s just say that I was able to bring a little of Josie’s warmth and fuzziness to you)."
