Made with wool from Rafter 7 sheep raised by the University of Nevada, Reno spun into yarn by Mountain Meadow Wool dyed by hand at Madelinetosh.

The Rafter 7 breed of sheep was developed in the 1990s by the University of Nevada, Reno's Experiment Station. Now they are raised at the Great Basin Research and Extension Center in Eureka, NV. Rafter 7 sheep are well adapted to the harsh Great Basin environment and produce some of the finest wool in the nation.
