Rooftop Blanket

The Rooftop blanket uses just two different colors of yarn, but the marled technique makes it look like more! By holding three strands of the one color and one strand of the second color, then two strands of each, and then three strands of the second color and one of the first color – something magical happens. The fabric looks like a night sky full of shimmering stars, that’s almost liquid-esque.

There is also flame stitch technique in the blanket, which makes the stitches look like the licks of flame on a candle. Every stitch is twisted throughout the blanket to match the bottoms of the hems of the garments in the Adventurer Collection.

This pattern is pretty easy to follow and goes by quickly once you learn it. Because of all the ribbing, the Rooftop blanket is incredibly stretchy and grows to comfortably fit two people, but it also packs down small for travel.
