Shipping & Returns


We recommend domestic customers purchasing yarn and gifts for the holiday order no later than December 9th. 

We recommend International customers purchasing yarn and gifts for the holiday go to for holiday deadlines and then add an additional 7-10 business days for estimated delivery date.

We cannot guarantee international orders will arrive by December 25. We have experienced delays in deliveries due to Covid-19. Please refer to the UPS Holiday Deadlines

Ready to ship products like 12 Days of MT, patterns, books, magazines, yarn EXTRAS, Mystery Grab Bags, etc. will usually leave our facility in 3-5 business days. Dye to order yarn and kits like Josh Bennett Kits, Glo Orange Yarn, MT Community Love Fund Kids, Holiday Palette Yarn and Kits will leave our facility within 10-14 business days.


We ship all domestic packages via United States Postal Service First Class Mail (USPS) by default, approximately 10-14 business days after the receipt of your order, or 14-16 business days if it is a large sale dye to order purchase, due to the larger volume of orders. Customers have the option to select UPS Ground or 2 Day shipping.

You may experience shipping delays. For the health and safety of the teams in our warehouse, we have implemented a social distancing plan and this may temporarily slow down processing. For any questions, please contact us at


We are currently only offering UPS shipping for International orders. We ship approximately 10-14 business days after the receipt of your order, or 12-14 business days if it is a large sale, due to the larger volume of orders.

International shipments will ship UPS.

All international customers are responsible for their country’s customs fees and duties. Fees vary from country to country and is not responsible for these fees.

Customs forms are filled out in accordance with International law to accurately reflect package value and contents. Packages cannot be marked as “gifts".


For Domestic (U.S.A) packages: 

Contact with your order number, and tracking information and we will contact USPS and file a missing parcel claim that business day. USPS will then contact the last post office location your tracking information listed, and have them relocate the package, or confirm the delivery of the package.

Madelinetosh is not responsible for any items lost, stolen, or confirmed as delivered once they have been shipped. We can not replace, or issue a refund for packages lost, stolen, or confirmed as delivered once the package has left our facility.


SALES TAX is located in Texas. In accordance with the law Texas residents will be charged 8.25% sales tax on all orders, including pattern downloads.



Unused yarn in its original condition/packaging may be exchanged for a refund within 30 days of the date printed on the invoice enclosed in your package. Sale items and patterns are not eligible for return.

Refunds will be issued for the full invoice amount minus any shipping costs incurred. Shipping costs will only be refunded if your items were damaged or your order was improperly shipped thus prompting the return.

We will gladly exchange unused yarns for alternate color choices but shipping costs will be applied.

We will happily work with you regarding flawed or damaged skeins please contact us first prior to your return at to request a return shipping label.

Please, allow up to four weeks for all returns/exchanges to be received and processed.

Packages mailed to Madelinetosh which are ineligible for return will not be refunded.
