Pip & Pepper

Pip & Pepper is a pattern for a medium sized stuffed cat and dog toy. The body for both animals is worked from one instruction, but there are separate instructions for the cat and dog head/ears/tail. In addition, this pattern contains instructions for 2 outfits.

Each toy is worked from the feet up through
the body and with the head, arms, ears, and tail worked separately before being attached. Most of Pip & Pepper are worked in the round.

NEEDLES USED | Animal: US Size 2.5 (3.0 mm) set of 5 DPNs, or size needed to obtain gauge, Clothes: US Size 2 (2.75 mm) set of 5 DPNs, and US Size 2.5 (3.0 mm) set of 5 DPNs, or size needed to obtain gauge

GAUGE | Animal: 26 sts x 36 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch on larger needles, Clothing: 30 sts x 36 rows = 4” in stranded stockinette stitch on larger needles

NOTIONS | Tapestry needle, stitch markers, 14-16mm safety eyes, scrap yarn for face embroidery, stuffing
