NEEDLES | Hat: 16”/ 40 cm circular needles, sizes 5 / 3.75 mm & 7 / 4.5 mm or size to obtain gauge
1 set double-pointed needles, or preferred needles for working small circumferences, size 7 / 4.5 mm; Mittens: 1 set double-pointed needles, or preferred needles for working small circumferences, sizes 5 / 3.75 mm & 7 / 4.5 mm
2 cable needles Stitch markers (one of a different color to indicate BOR)

GAUGE | 20 sts and 28 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in St St using larger needle 19-st cable panel = 2¾ / 7 cm wide using larger needle. Gauge is measured after blocking.

The hat and mittens, featuring a decorative cable panel, are worked seamlessly in the round. Hat is knit from the bottom up. The brim is worked in K1, p1 ribbing and a pom pom is sewn to the top of the hat.
